How much off of the room is it?

Do you need to pick exact dates and resort at the time?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Bounce back is an offer that they are making to guest who are at the resorts. Basically, if you book your vacation for next year before you leave you are offered a discount. Unfortunately, I believe it ended this week.

I believe the promo has ended, but for future reference, it was not a discount off the room at all. The rooms were at rack rate, but the basic dining plan was included for free. It's a great deal for those that were able to take advantage of it. And yes, those that were eligible for the promo had to pick their dates/resort at the time of booking.

We booked our bounce back yesterday (10/23) before we checked out. The discount was for select dates in January, February, early April (?) and August 10th thru sometime in September. Our flier advertised 20% off values and 30% off moderates. We were quoted around $1500 for 5 days in August at a moderate (hopper passes) but inquired about WL and ended up booking the same timeframe for $1700.

Anybody happen to know how long they will be offering this? We don't check in until 12/12, so I REALLY hope it lasts until then. We need to book for Aug. 1-17 so at least the last half of our dates could be discounted!!

We ended our WL stay on Wednesday (10/23) and the bounceback was still offered. The bounceback deal was offered on the TV resort channel. When I called about the bounceback deal last Friday (10/19) they offered me only the free dining with no room discount, so we chose to think about it for a couple of days before deciding to book. When I called on Tuesday (10/22) the bounceback offer had changed to room discounts, so we booked 8 nights at the Contemporary in September 2008. The CM also stated I could keep checking back to change locations or see if they open up additional dates after Sep 2008. I have priced the same trip on the DW site and found out the bounceback saved me about $1300.

We just returned and were offered the BB for a room discount for specific dates for next year. They were 30% off delux rooms and 40% off of DVC villa rooms. There were ALOT of blackouts on this promotion. I tried to check out some dates for August and had a CM that was not doing well. I had to keep telling her what I thought she should do. It took 20 minutes to verify that I was at the resort while on the phone. It was pretty frustrating. I finally gave up after she beat me down. I would say, please check the value resorts, then after a long time she would quote me a total. I would ask, what about a moderate resort and got a big hush on the phone. Finally I said no thank you to the offer and had planned to call back, but was so turned off and didn't want to deal with it again. Most of the quotes were higher than the average AP discount, so didn't really think it was a big savings for us. However, if you plan to stay in a delux or villa and don't have an AP, the savings are good.
