Is booting becoming a hobby for people?

I brought this up because if i argue with an owner of a room, they get scared and boot me. =/ or they just randomly boot me. I think like last tuesday I got booted 9 times (yes I counted, sadly) and then Thursday I got booted 4 times and I've been booted at least twice every day since then. Anyone have opinions or anyone having the same issue? =/

I don't have the same issue. I try my best to avoid arguments with everyone in VMK. I only get booted when I'm afk for a bit. I think people only boot when they are mad about something, or do not know a person.

I would say stop arguing with the owners of the room! If you don't like them, don't go to their room.

I always randomly get booted. I will be like "Hello! How are you today?" and it will be like rare trades or something and than someone trades me and sometimes i wolnt be done trading and i will get the boot just randomly...

i dont mind getting booted from ppls rooms if they dont want anyone in there or something like that but what is bad is when you go to a trade room and the owner wants something of yours and it is either not for trade or you dont want what they offer and they boot you thats sad when they have to go that low

Last week one of my friends was randomly booted from a room. The room owner (a family member of mine and new vmk player) either hit the wrong button some how.. .or did not quite understand the purpose.

Personally, I was very embarassed and apologized. Rest assured my family member received an education by phone. One thing I suggested is before booting anyone, I suggest she politely ask them to leave.

So, if you are arguing with an owner, the boot may be on purpose...But always remember accidents happen and there is no "un-boot" button.

I never booted anyone from my room but I almost had to. I was waiting for someone to come get credits from my kiosk for a trade and the girl went AFK. I wrote that I might have to boot her so that I could close off my room but she returned before then.

I have been booted a few times. I've entered quest rooms that weren't finished and most of the time I've been asked to leave because it wasn't complete. Other times, I'm just automatically booted. The first time it happened, I was so surprised because all I did was enter the room. However, I guess I understand if the owner of the room needs you out of the room pronto instead of asking you to leave.

Booting gives room owners some sense of control. Even if it is done for "right" or "wrong" reason, in your opinion, technically it is the owner's room. If anyone is offended by booting, just remember that the owner is booting the virtual you, not the real you.

the owner traded me and i said no ty sorry
then we was like, GUESS WHAT?
and he boot me! and i was in A trade room

i try not to fight but i dont go down with out one. they keep saying that some items will e on sale but they dont have proof so it gets into a fight, they should just keep opinions to themselves

Preaching values when its obvious they did not read them

Reasons I have GOTTEN booted from rooms:
For doing taken
For not giving the owner what they demand in trade
For not trading the owner
For having inferno hmm yea silly huh

Reasons I boot from a pirates game I started:
Ppl I remember playing previously and are obnoxious
When ppl say "get ready to be owned" arg
When someone joins a team and tells me to boot another player so we can start. I always boot the one that demands I boot someone and tell them.....be careful what you wish for, besides boots are for feet.

Once i was in a trade room and i used Inferno and I was told I was showing off when i only did it once in the room and i was told from owner to stop being mean and if you use inferno again you will be booted from the room.. so i thought that was really rude...

This happened about 3 days ago:

I went to follow my friend into a room ((My friend was not the room owner)). I entered the room and I said " .-. ". The room owner suddenly boot me... I messaged my friend and told him that I got boot. My friend said it was because I made that face. Now, I know people have their reasons to boot, but don't you think that's a bit silly?

I don't really care if I get booted, I get booted from Host rooms alot since I'm always afk. I usually don't go into any rooms unless I'm friends with the owner.

I use to boot alot, but now I only boot my step-sister, people that are annoying my friends and I and if I have to leave the room I sometimes boot. I don't boot from pirates anymore, I just start another game or go afk.

I've only been booted a few times for seemingly no reason. But I'm sure there was a reason, but they never did explain it to me My personal favorite is the time when I found a "free leaving vmk!" room (yes, I'm a sucker for those, sue me) and I was curious, so I entered. I was about 3rd or 4th in line and when it was my turn she asked me what I wanted and I asked her what she had. She put up some stuff in the window, and a pink beret caught my eye. I asked if I could have the beret and she said "sure, but this one comes with a small price. It wasn't easy to get, so just give me something small." So I didn't think much of it and I put up a magic carpet chair and I asked if that was alright (I didn't hit accept or anything). She then said, "this is a free room, I'll give it to you for free of course!" and then exited out of the trade window and booted me! Looking back I'm not so sure what she was up to, she didn't exactly try to scam me or anything. I was slightly bummed for a second because I never did get my pink beret But then I played some mansion and felt better Other than that I've not really been booted too much.
