Is Boardwalk done?

I agree! The queen sofa bed in our room is really comfortable and not so clumsy to get out of like the old one. I am having some trouble opening it, however. Because of the new wood-look floor, the whole sofa bed seems to move toward me when I pull to open it.

Totally agree! We had to have 2 people hold and me pull to get it out. Figured I was one of the first to use it.

Thanks for the update. Good to hear you aren't being affected!

What type of room/view do you have?

We do have a renovated Garden/pool view room on the 4th floor with a view of the feature pool. We like the renovations with one exception- lack of storage . The 4 drawers in the chest are small. The night table has one very small drawer. The TV is huge and had a beautiful picture. Wood floors in the entryway and the carpet is nice. I also like the subtle color scheme .

We are in a standard one bedroom on the second floor. Not yet renovated and looking pretty worn, but OK with us. However, after being out past 1AM at MNSSHP last night, we were awoken this morning to a horrible grinding sound. Looked out on the balcony, and there was a workman eye to eye with me on a lift, running a grinder against the side of the building. Went down to the front desk, and all the manager could offer was to refund a night's points, even though I said what I really wanted was to be able to sleep. No offer to move us. They did say the construction supervisor would contact me. If I don't get assurances that this won't happen again tomorrow, or if it's still going on when we try to take an afternoon nap, I'm going to insist on being moved.

Very unlikely that they have empty rooms this time of year.

You would think, but not really. Evidently they received a lot of complaints yesterday, and follow up indicated that the construction company was at fault for starting work earlier than had been agreed upon. They did, however, offer to move us to a different resort, but given the assurance that no work would be done prior to 9AM from now on (which was true today), we decided to stay put.
