Is being right above the theater an issue for sleeping?

We have to change our cabin assignment for our February 2019 cruise and I'm looking at deck 5 forward. Being that close to the kids clubs sounds really handy, but what about being right over the Walt Disney Theater? Assuming we'll be going to bed around 10pm.

Edit: The Wonder.

We had some issues with noise on a EBTA in room 5520 on the Magic. They were doing rehearsals in the theatre after midnight. It wasn't awful but we were also closer to the elevators, not over the bulk of the theatre.

No issues with the main stage shows.

There may be late rehearsals or crew events.

If there is a big film premiere during your cruise, there may be a late show in the theatre.

Have you checked the stateroom reports for the rooms you are interested in?

We had an issue with the midnight PremEar of Cars 2. We could hear the MC before midnight and lots of noise from the movie, to the point of pictures rattling on the walls. The rest of the time the location was great. I would check release dates of movies before I stayed there again.

Just in cabins 5030 and 5032 last week on the fantasy. No noise whatsoever from the regular stage shows in the main theater.

The 11:00 showing of solo in the main theater - different story. Felt like we were trying to sleep in the theater :)

That is our second time in those cabins. Just an issue with a movie premier for us!

We always stay in deck 5 forward rooms on the Magic/Wonder. 5012/5014 is our usual go-to rooms. We were on the WBPC cruise and it was the first time we heard music rehearsals from the WDT. It was after midnight. Not a problem for me as I'm a night owl but that was the first time I have heard the extra noise in about 8 times in that area. It wasn't really loud, but like the room next to us had the radio on. It took some time for me to figure out where the noise was coming from.

We really enjoyed being on deck 2 on the Magic. We liked being so close to the water with our oceanview. But we did go ahead and pick one of the deck 5 cabins. It sounds safe enough (as long as no movie premiers) and we really like the idea of being that close to the kids club.

Deck 5 is my favourite deck, and we have stayed in the same deck 5 cabin again, the noise wasn't enough to keep us from booking it.
