I haven't looked into the popularity of BOG recently and I was wondering if it was still crazy popular/crowded. I am only interested in this restaurant for lunch. People used to rush over there as soon as the park opened to stand in line for lunch. Is there still a long lunch or can you walk in like all the other QS?

No, you cant get into BOG without going past the gatekeeper and i am fairly certain there is never a time you can just walk in without a res. Thats why they book ADRs for breakfast, lunch and dinner at BOG which is not usually the case for QS meals and restaurants. I have heard a few people say they had luck walking up to the gatekeeper and asking if there was availability, but those reports have been fairly few and far between. My mom and sister tried walking up at around 2pm (if i remember correctly, i know it was during lunch but after the main lunch rush time) and asked if there was availability for the 2 of them for lunch and they were turned away. So, YMMV, but mostly you need an ADR to ever eat at BOG.

Book very early or hope for an opening at the last minute. But I agree that you will need an ADR.

So....do you make an ADR for B/L just like any other ADR? I seem to remember going when it was fairly "new" and there was some other way to reserve.

I haven't been in the ADR game in a while....now there's ADRs for QS...... and mobile ordering....and I haven't even attempted to brush up on my FP+ knowledge (lack there-of)..:scared::sad:

Breakfast and Lunch are QS but you still need an ADR. Dinner is TS and again ADR is required. There is no other way to reserve.
For B/L they offer advanced ordering (slightly different than the new mobile ordering).
