Is Babycakes gone from DTD

You can find the mini cupcakes at several rsort hotels, and the mini cupcakes and doghnuts at the special diet kiosk inside AK. It's located to the right of the tree of life on the walkway toward Asia

I don't know the answer to the Donut question. I liked them but of course they were denser than normal Donuts.

But I did want to point out that Babycakes have Gingerbread and other special goodies at the deluxe resorts Gingerbread displays. I thought that was neat.

They ran out at the GF last year. I am hoping they stocked more this year. I would love for my mom to have some and will be there next Sunday. My mom said the thing she misses the most are yeast donuts. I told her about Babycakes and she was executed but I did not know they were no longer there.

DD and I loved the cupcakes we got from Babycakes a year ago. But, they were so sweet, I'm sure they had an overload of sugar in them to make up for not having gluten. I'm type 2 diabetic so have to be careful of that. The mini cupcakes sound more doable, so I will look for those on our trip in January.

My ds is allergic to milk and we've had the donuts from Babycakes several times. I am pretty sure they are cake donuts.

And as a pp mentioned, their items are very sweet. But for a 6yo who rarely gets treats that look and taste like the ones everyone else can eat, he loves them! We'll miss getting Babycakes this year unless we run across them somewhere.

We also miss yeast donuts - I've even threatened to try to make some at home but hate grease/frying so need an electric fryer that I can use outside on the porch for the couple times a year we do donuts. It seems too large a project for too little return at the moment... I can sub/find/bake most other things, but the DF yeast donut eludes us.
