Is Avis Airport at actual airport?

I know some of the rental car companies at MCO have the cars right there within walking distance of terminals and others you have to take bus.

What about Avis? Do you just walk to the cars after checking in with Avis?

Yes, Avis is there with the others. Just google MCO and it will give you the list of all rental car companies that don't require a shuttle.

Yes, AVIS is in MCO. Not sure what time you land, but I have had issues with their Preferred counter not having anyone there when I have arrived later in the evening. It was just a hassle to have to come back to the counter in the main terminal.

If you have an Avis Wizzard number you can bypass the check-in counter inside the terminal and check-in at the parking garage where you would pick up your car keys. Of course the only downside is you would not know how long the line inside the parking garage might be and if the line is very short inside the terminal it might be best to check-in there.
