Is Aunt Polly's Open

Is Aunt Polly's on Tom Sawyers Island open. For some reason I remember reading that it was closed for refurbishment, if it is, does anyone know if it'll be reopened by December 15 when we get there? Thanks!

I haven't seen it open in ages (very disappointing). But it is still a great place to relax, eat a snack (that you bring from elsewhere), and watch the folks in Liberty Square and Frontierland.

I thought I heard somewhere that there were now a couple of vending machines in front of where the counter is/was. Can anyone who's been there recently confirm/deny this?

There are broken vending machines on the dock.
I can't believe it is still listed as a dining choice. I remember having a great sandwich and ice cream there about 10 years ago. It was so nice. I think it is crummy of Disney to ignore this gem.
After we lost $4 in the vending machines last summer, no CM would help me to get a refund, none knew how or would try to find out. I had to a refund at guest services on the way out of the park!
