Does anybody know? We haven't seen it open in years, but we rarely go to WDW during the summer.

We go every summer and we haven't seen it open in at least 4 years. I remember when they used to serve cold fried chicken and ham sandwiches. Then it was desserts, and finally they stuck a couple vending machines there. Very sad.

We always go in the summer. I couldn't even say when was the last time it was open, it's been a while for us. It's so disappointing. In the summer heat, it would be nice to sit there, relax, and have some ice cream.

I miss it too. I used to love going over there, taking a break, and sitting and eating while watching the boats go by. Listen to the spiel of the keel boats from afar and wave at the people. Sitting there drinking a coke just isn't the same (besides no keel boats!) but at least it is cooling and refreshing.

1) If it isn't closed for good, it makes a good impression that it is.
2) You can only get vending machines, and sometimes they are empty.
3) The hinges on the service windows are even rusted.

For years I have been kidding myself that it must be open in midsummer. At least we can still enjoy taking a break and listening to the soothing sounds of the Haunted Mansion!
