My old biology teacher named his son Skylar Walker.. as in named after Luke Skywalker.. but at least it sounds kind of normal

I feel bad for these celebrity's kids with the really out there names like Reigh Beau and Pilot Inspektor.. don't they realize that it's a person who has to live with being called that for the rest of their life? ..or at least until they're old enough to legally change it.. oy vey.

I just remembered something from a book I read in second grade. I have only remembered it for nine years because it was so odd. The author of the My Side of the Mountain books, which I read in 2nd grade, mentions in the forward that he named his daughter Twig. Parents should realize that their child will have the name for a very long time. What's cute as a baby name might not be cute later on.

i think unique names are beautiful within reason. moses is a bible name, and it isnt strange at all. on the other hand, i rather like the name angel for a boy or a girl. its pretty and simple, almost even elegant.

No, there is no way that they will be picked on. Their parents are super stars. Now if someone like me or you (I'm just assuming here that your parents aren't superstars...?) was to be named that, we'd get our butt's kicked. They won't for that reason alone.

I do agree that it's cruel. Don't just follow the wacko baby naming trend just because you're famous. I can pretty much guarantee from common sense that 1/2 of these kids wouldn't have these names if their parent's didn't make movies or whatever.

Yes, IMO Apple is a weird name for a child. A animal maybe, but not a child. Someone in my Math class is named Tiarra. That isn't that weird. But some names are.

Sorry, they will still be bothered. Even if kids themselves won't, but the media (newspapers, zines, magazines, tabloids and online websites [GO PEREZ!]) will. These days, we have no respect for celebrities and their family, we get joy out of making fun of them.

Totally weird, I agree. But don't you find that all those WEIRD names are in HOLLYWEIRD!?!? LOL All those famous ppeople with kids just wan to be known and talked about more...but I just don't get it!! Why are you going to name your kid...Apple or Grape or Table or Dart!?!? LOL Seriously!!!!
