Is Anyone Posting Real Time Info From the DVC Members Meeting?

That curved seating with the tiny round table looks rather small and wasted space (GFV dining area).

Yep, my biggest DVC pet peeve, little tiny dining tables that only fit a few people.

Hopefully they are having a bigger one, and the sample didn't make it for the pictures.

I can hope can't I.:rotfl:

Regarding property taxes, you have to consider both sources of sales: direct and resale.

DVC still sells BLT direct for around $160 per point. Resales are available but not plentiful and prices average around $90 per point.

Meanwhile SSR has a lot of resale transfers at $50-60 per point and minimal direct sales around $100 per point.

To simplify, overall BLT pricing is either stable or still trending upward, thus the county can still justify raising taxes.

SSR pricing is trending downward with cheap resales dominating, thus overall value is down and taxes are lower.

So that should mean taxes at BLT will stabilize as resale prices may start to come down and direct sales become less and less?

Who would have thought that DVC jacking up the prices by 50% for pure profits would hurt their members pockets who purchased in the past!

I think that's a fair assessment. As lower-priced resale transactions begin to dominate all BLT transfers-of-ownership, taxes should eventually go down. That's assuming no changes in tax rates or other factors driven by the county and its voting residents.
