Is anyone NOT going out on Black Friday?

Is anyone NOT going out on Black Friday? I'm been looking over the various ads, and frankly, there's nothing shouting out at me. I did see some video game deals for stuff DS had asked for, but I ended up buying the same ones online today for the same price (and didn't have to pay tax or shipping).

Go figure...the year that I'm finally off work, husband is home to baby sit, etc...there's not a single thing I want (or can afford) to buy.

i'm not going out, but DH is. he wants 3 things from lowe's, and his mom and dad want a new DVD/VCR combo player from sears. i added a 3rd thing to his list and asked him to get me the $5.99 flash drive from officemax (right across the street from lowe's).

I have not been out on Black Friday for dozens or years!!

I looked at the ads...not sure why since I have no money....but there was not anything really that said "Buy me no matter what"....of course even if I did see that I still would not have any money and still would not step foot out of the house on Black Friday!!!!

I'm not, never have. I watch for sales prior too and do the majority online. Great deals can be found online plus like you said almost everywhere offers free shipping codes now.

Nope. Not going out. I do have a few items, small ones, in my Amazon cart and I hope some of them go down tonight. If they don't -- no big deal. I'm more of an online bargain shopper now.

Just remember there are LOTS of items you can Buy online and Pickup in the store....Save yourself LOTS of steps/ time and check those items! I already bought the LOWES Shop Vac / paid the doorbuster price...now just have to go sometime in the next few days to pick it up ....Lots of stores are offering FREE SHIPPING too, so use that to avoid the stores tomorrow...

I'm not going. I'm just not interested in all the craziness. My Christmas shopping list is so much smaller now and after working the last few days on Thanksgiving, I'm just too tired! There isn't anything I need badly enough or that is that great of a deal to justify it.

Not going. There's nothing around here & I want to sleep in. I will be doing the cyber Black Friday & I'm always out the day after Christmas for all the 50% off deals.

Not me. I worked in retail throughout high school and college. Our doorbusters weren't that great!! Although, I've been saying that next year my sister and I need to hit the midnight sales at Williamsburg outlets, and reserve a hotel room to crash at about 4 am, and sleep til noon.

I wouldn't be going out tonight except a friend asked me to go. I plan to be with her for about 1 hour waiting and 1 hour shopping. Then home. Honestly, nothing in the ads for tomorrow is appealing.

Not me. There's nothing worth going out there, to me. We're going to buy a new big-screen tv but we'll just wait for a sale on the exact one we want, not just buy something because it's on sale.

I was going... out at 3 AM, to try to get a laptop at Radio Shack. Instead, I just bought a tablet on QVC. I'll stop at Walmart on my way to work in the afternoon to try to get some small items, but that's it.
