pins from the Art of Disney. These pins are the finest pins I have ever seen. I started getting them on my last trip and just love the way they look. They are rather large pins and come in a box with a little bio on the artist.

Take a look and let me know what you think of these? Here is a link to pin pics

I am Nat. The pins really are outstanding. I have all but Scar, but the other ones I have really are great.

I have thought about it because they are beautiful, but the price keeps me away at this point....maybe some day.....

this is true they are expensive. I was able to trade for the first 5 so I was lucky.

We are definitely collecting these! They are big beautiful pins! They are a little on the expensive side, but the size and quality are great. So far we are only missing one from the series which was Scar and the hyenas, but we have two of the Donald and the #6 Mickey so hopefully we will be able to trade for a Scar sometime.

I started because I had to have Donald and then start to check them out and fell in love with them so now I have them all so far I hope they do a goofy also.

I am having enough trouble trying to keep up on the WDW Artist Choice from the events. I don't have near enough hair to deal with the stress of collecting an additional set.

We have a few of them, but need other months. We have a Donald to trade for another month if anyone is interested.

I bought the Scar pin and the spinning MIckey.
I am glad I bought these, as I really like them. But nice pins or not, they are over priced I think.

Just for clariification..the pin series Nat and the others are referring to is actually called "The Featured Artist" Series, and is exclusive to WDW. A new pin is released each month. Each big and bold pin is a limited editon of 750 and sells for $25.00. The packaging is top notch and the "hidden" Artist's Bio is fun and informative too! My favorite pin of the series (so far) is the "Circle of Mickey Faces". A beautiful spinner pin, released in March, that sold out quickly. I am hoping for a Tinker Bell pin, as I am an avid fan and collector of the tiny pixie. All six pins can be seen on PinPics using the info below. Enjoy and happy trading...Disneyboy

he packaging is top notch
It's a cardboard box. Yes, a nice cardboard box with a cellophane window and white sleeve.
I guess I think of top notch as part of the design.
They could put it in a lesser box or hang tag and lower the price. That would be fine with me. ;)

Being it is an Art of Disney Piece I think adds to the cost. But for $25.00 a pin it is nice to know that they won't be snatched up by one or two people and horded. It is a set that as a Collector I am enthralled with. It is not a pin for trading as much as a true collectable. While I was able to trade for most of mine I would have paid for them if they where still for sale instead. They are truly small pieces of art. Large pins but small pieces of art.

I was not aware that these pins even existed 'til our June trip, and ended up trading for the fist one--Art Deco MIckey, and it is wonderful; and I have seen the Scar, which is even more wonderful; however, the others don't really thrill me. One of them came out the last day we were there, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay the $25.

If others come out that I like I guess I could try to trade for them.....
