I'm trying to decide what to do for easter. Easter Sun. will be our first full day there. What should the Easter Bunny bring the girls? Mine are 6 and 12. Disney $ are already an item, but I dont want to go all out with lots of candy/junk. I thought about a cute Disney purse w/ Disney Dollars and maybe a choc. bunny? Any ideas? Seems like I read somewhere that some have the Easter Bunny leave the basket at the front desk in the hotel. I think I will do this, but dont want the basket. I will be packing everything to take with us(driving) and I really don't want the little one to know what's up.

Hi. We will be there late on the 25th. I have been asking over and over what events go on for Easter, but nothing has been posted yet. Not sure if the bunny only comes to the larger resorts or what? We will be staying at the All Star Music. I've been thinking about calling the resort and asking if they do anything like egg hunts or something. I gather that the parks themselves do nothing special just the resorts. Would feel rather odd waking up Easter morning and everything appearing to be just a "regular" day. I bought several Disney items and plan on making a small basket for my youngest daughter.(10) My other daughter is 24 and said all she wanted was some chocolate. LOL Figure I can buy that at any gift shop. Sure wish Disney would post their events, don't know why it is taking them so long.I read they don't even have Easter parades anymore. Shame, would of enjoyed that.

We wil be there either late on the 25th or early on the 26th. I've not heard anything other than special menu's, which we really don't care about. I did see Tink snow globes at the Disney Store as well as Tink beach towels ($12.99). The snowglobes were awesome, but $20 each. Hopefully, someone more creative will post a wonderful idea!!

It's hard to believe that all of the resorts aren't having special events. Personally, I think the value and moderates should definitely do egg hunts or something special since so many children stay at these resorts. I called and several of the delux hotels hold egg hunts. We are flying so we'll place Disney dollars in Plastic Eggs for the kids and buy candy when we arrive.

I called All Star Music and was told that none of the All Stars would be doing anything for Easter. They said that if we wanted to join in with Poly or Contemporary's egg hunt we could. Also specified that none of the events would be posted until 7 to 10 days before Easter. Don't know why they can't inform us sooner. I like planning way ahead of time. Oh well... no doubt we will still have great time. Afterall its Disney. I thought about bringing some plastic filled eggs myself. Only problem is there is no way I could afford to get enough for all the children at ASM, so that idea is no good. At least we'll have baskets so that will make it feel more like Easter.
