Is anyone else on pins and needles waiting to find out about all of the changes to be revealed on Jan. 2nd. I realize we know alot about them, but to get the offical word and find out all of the ins and outs of the new tickets and packages. And hopefully, on Sat. we will know the March hours.

We leave on Jan 20. To make matters more confusing we are staying at Shades of Green (SOG). SOG has not officially said whether or not they are going to participate in EMH, nor have they released their ticket prices for the new MYW tickets. I just posted about this on the resort boards. I'd love to know what their prices are going to be.

At this point I won't be too disappointed if they don't participate in EMH. I don't think I want to get up for the morning hours, and during our 6 day stay, there are only two evening EMH and they are both at the studios. Until I hear some reports about the crowds at the evening EMH I am planning to avoid them.

I am as well. As you will see by my two countdowns below, the new MYW packages will determine if I go to WDW May 27-June 6 or Oahu Oct 1-9.

I can't believe that it was almost 4 weeks ago that the original details came out about the packages and in 4 days we will all beable to actually see prices. I hope they are as affordable as WDW is saying.

I can't wait. We are hoping to go back to WDW in early October. I'll be able to plan a lot better once all the new info comes out!

I am!!! I have not yet booked anything for this trip. I am holding out to see the official deal on the MYW packages. I am seriously considering MYW+dining.

Well we made our decision last night to wait until after the 2nd to get our tickets. I can't wait to see all the details about the 10 day ticket! either way, it will save us close to $100.00 a ticket getting the ten day as opposed to two four day PHP passes for two trips. And we'll get 5 days at the parks each trip as opposed to 4. Almost like we're getting four days for free. At least if the prices that have been floating around are correct. Does anyone know if the MYW tickets can be purchased in advance for any discount?

I'm so excited about January 2. That's the night I'll be sitting in MGM as late as they'll let me, watching the Osborne Lights. Since it's the first week of EMH, I plan to ask a lot of questions, take as many notes as possible, and post what I learn/see next weekend, when I get back. If anyone has any questions about MGM or MK evening EMH, let me know.

Please do. I am sure that even after the tickets and packages are released we will still be confused. This is why I plan to go online to figure out my packages prices since I am sure that reservations will be busy.

Me too. This trip has been full of anticipation. I bought tickets on US Air so I am waiting to see what happens with them and whether or not we actually have airline tickets. They have a bankruptcy hearing in Jan. Then I have been waiting for March hours because my trip is split between the end of Feb (for 2 days) and beginning of March (for 3 days). I waited for the Feb hours and then had to wait another month for the March hours . . . not to mention they keep changing their mind about the EMH early/late times. Now, I am waiting to see the MYW details because I did decide to buy those instead of PHs. It will save me $100 and give us an extra day in the parks based on preliminary reports. My patience is wearing thin!

Even though we won't be able to use the MYW tickets this trip (still have APs) I'm anxious to see how they work out. I'm also curious to see whether AP holders will be able to eventually utilize the MYW dining add ons. It might make a difference for the next year's trip whether we'll continue to buy APs or buy into the MYW tickets. Can't wait to hear everyone's opinions of them.
