getting onto the dis boards?

For the last couple of weeks Ive kept getting a message saying the server is too busy

Is it just me or is this my pc trying to tell me I spend too much time on here??

It does seem to be particularly busy at the moment. Often, it takes me a few minutes. The busiest times seem to be between 6 and 10 in the evenings (presumably when most of the US is logging on ) I usually just sit pressing the 'refresh' button until it works

It's just taken me ages to respond because I kept getting the same message! The most annoying time is when you type out a really long reply, forget to copy it - and you get the server too busy announcement, and eventually a blank response message page.....AND my extra smilies still don't work

is been taking about five mins to get on for me each time, i get that message 10 to 12 times in a row

Have been getting the same message as well, but not for so long - only the last 3 or 4 days.

My pc is just playing up in general tho so I just put it down to that. Am actually glad its not my pc.

Hubby updated my computer yesterday, so I presumed it was all his fault (oh dear I'd better apologise !!), This has been driving me bonkers all evening

I have noticed that it has been really busy lately. As Joh pointed out it is very busy in the evenings for us.

It has been very bad this evening,as Joh said between 6 and 9 I think were bad for me, but I know the webmasters/Tech Support are trying hard to solve the problem

There seemed to be something happening this morning, I tried to log on for the past hour and got lots of strange messages related to new servers. Maybe the technical wizards are sorting something out as we speak??

Wow, got the most amazing computer gobbledygook come up about 20 minutes ago, like I got into the main DIS mainframe or something. Hope it all gets sorted soon, I was starting to get withdrawl symptoms as I couldn't get on last night either
