Is anyone else getting a sever is busy message when making reservations online?

I have been getting this message when trying to make reservations online for 3 days now. "Server Is Busy Sorry, but the server is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or scheduled downtime. Please try again later."

What is going on? Is anyone else having trouble?

The "new" page seems to be down periodically this morning.
Generally, the WDW system seems to prefer if you work slowly, especially when it's wonky.
Let a page completely load, wait a bit, make your selection...if you get the server busy or other negative response, hit the back button. Start again, slowly. It is annoying.

The other option is to use the "old" site: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/
It seems to be working this morning. It will be a sad day when they take down this page that actually works.

Yes, I've been getting the "server is busy" message yesterday and today. I was able to get through today and make a reservation, but then it stopped working again. I called to make a reservation over the phone and was told they had no availability for the time I wanted even though the website was showing it as an available time, so calling wasn't helpful either.

This just happened to me this morning when I was lucky enough to get a BOG for Dec. When I tried to enter the credit card guarantee that message came up. I waited a few minutes and when I pressed the NEXT button it went through.

My advice is to NOT try again later. Stay on the site reservation you have until the computer adjusts. I think, KNOW, I would have lost it if I had tried again later.

You are right. I just tried to make a reservation and I got the "server is busy" message once I tried to submit the guest names. I tried to refresh the page several times and that didn't work. I hit the back button to return to the previous page with the guest names to submit again, and I still got the "server is busy" message, but once I hit the back button and tried again, it finally went through to the final page and then I was able to make the reservation. Whew!

I've been getting that too. I'm getting availability for an Ohana breakfast but getting Donald Duck telling me to try again later after I check off the names of my guests.

Just got through! I tried what the person did above - hit back when Donald showed up and then tried again with the names checked. Success! Thanks.
