Is anyone else as indecisive as me?

I thought I was the only indecisive one in the world!! ha ha...I booked Homewood Suites on my own, and then I booked Paradise Pier through Costco, and I was also considering Ho Jo's and Fairfield. After Disney Suite's wonderful review with beautiful pictures, she sold me on the Fairfield!! I booked AND paid for it for $87/night (not Disney view) so it's ony $500 for 5 nights with tax included! Yippee!! One less thing to worry about now...I can "rest in peace" although I still have to book our airport shuttle tickets, park tickets, train tickets to San Diego, hotel for SD, etc.! ha ha...it never ends!

I know! Disneysuitefreak sold me also. She should now be the "official" Fairfield Inn spokeswoman. (I'm assuming you're female...)

I do the same thing also .... I have three reservations as we speak for different times of the year just incase we cant go for the first date as planned there have been many of times where something came up and it worked out great for me having different reservations for hotels... I also do it for the same week too ... for me its about a great deal and these boards help out so much in choosing the right hotel... I really want to go to HOJOs ... I did a long time ago probably when I was in my early teens but haven’t been back since with my family....I myself want to see why its one of the best hotels on harbor.

Wishing you luck!! ( and you need to stay at the fairfield LOL!! ) close and 89.99 right now! ( I believe)

Now hearing that could and will probably make me change my mind again !!:goodvibes

Thanks and if i could ask where did you hear about that rate ?:cheer2:

We weigh the pros and cons and just make our reservations. (I need all the sleep I can get :rolleyes1)

We just got back from a week-long trip last Sunday. I, too, will confess to having made 4 separate reservations before finally deciding on a place to stay. We first had the queen suite at Hojo's booked. I was really looking forward to staying there but my DH was also attending a convention and needed to get to the Hilton and the Honda Center easily. We decided Hojo's was too far for him to walk after getting off a bus at midnight at Harbor and Katella.

Then I looked at the Anaheim Plaza. I booked a 2 queen connecting room suite since my sister would be joining us and there would be 5 of us including my 2 boys. The distance to DL and the convention would have been fine, but I was worried about some of the reviews saying the hotel was older. Plus they charge for parking and extra adults beyond 2.

So then I considered the Portofino Inn since they had a 2 bedroom suite. The distance was great for the convention, but I decided we wanted to take breaks during the day from DL and the walk would be a little long.

I finally looked into our old stand-by - The Desert Inn & Suites. We have stayed there several times and like the room size. I was able to book a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a parlor. The room had 3 TVs which is great when you have 2 boys (13 and 10) who love their cartoons and NASCAR races.

At one point, I had 3 places booked at the same time. We ended up staying at the Desert Inn. I already knew the parking was bad, but we planned to park the car and never use it so I figured it would be OK. The indoor pool was kind of annoying. It gets humid and it's like an echo chamber for screaming kids. My boys used it 3 times while I sat and watched and they liked it fine. You can't beat the distance to the entrance plaza! My DH just had to walk to Katella to get a city bus to the Honda Center. We didn't use the breakfast expect to get milk for coffee. We brought our own food and ate in the room each morning before everyone went to do their thing.

We're planning to go back in 2011 and I'm already looking at hotel websites. If it wasn't too early to book, I'd probably have a few rooms on hold, just in case!:rotfl2:

Haha...one of mine is also at the Desert Suites. I really think I'm going to stay at the Fairfield Inn Marriott. From the others on here it's just an extra 5 minute walk and looking at the addresses for both that looks just about right!
