...when southwest releases the next block of dates. I just need to see what my spring break fares are going to be so I can make my next move.

I waiting I want to know their times out of Dayton or Columbus for our May 2014 trip. Depending on the price I may or may not book

Me too. Hoping the prices and times will be reasonable in the spring:thumbsup2

Me, too. We were hoping to get down to see the ILs in Florida for Christmas, but the fares are insane. I'm hoping to see some nice spring break fares instead.

:woohoo: Me too. Cruising out of Florida. What time should be ready to book?

Yep count me in too! We are cruising Spring break and hope it's not TOO nuts point wise! We know it will be high but I'm ready to book it and be done with it. We really don't want to drive :drive:

Is it typically around 6am est?

Heather

Count me in!:wave2: I'm changing my days up because flying home on a Sunday was ridiculous! We will be flying out of BWI Saturday and returning on Wednesday in May. Fingers crossed!

Waiting yes, but I have never found the best $ from SW on the first day, but is it good to get a placeholder done and work from there (booking on points)

We are going the end of February which is not included in the current "sale". Do you suggest I wait and see what October 14 brings for prices?

oh yes, me too! popcorn::

I am waiting for my SW bonus points to be deposited before I book. I keep reading that some of the best fares are usually found when the fare schedule opens. My points probably won't be available until a few days later, so hopefully I'll still get a good deal (flying out around spring break).

When SW opens a new block of booking, how far out will they open their schedule? I am already planning our vacation for Oct. 2014, and as we are traveling over a holiday weekend here in the Northeast, I want to jump on the fares asap!

On Monday it'll be opened from April 6 thru June 6 or at least that's what their website says.

Thanks. I looked at the website but didn't see anything. Good to know! It sounds like they start bookings about 6 months in advance, which means I don't have to worry quite yet!

Me me me :cool1:!! So ready to book our flights for our WDW/DCL trip in May. Hoping for some good airfares. Yesterday I was on SWA's website and found a Christmas Break RT ticket for my son from Cleveland to Indy for 4,560 RR points TOTAL :thumbsup2.

Does anyone know what time of day the schedule opens? Need to snag our Easter week flights on Monday. I seem to recall it could be as early as 5 or 6 am EST? Is that still the case?

it could open at any time - I have looked at 8:00 am CDT it wouldn't be open but it was up by 9:30 am

As to whether or fares are cheaper the first day - they were for me booking my Thanksgiving flights. I got 142 from Houston to MCO nonstop on the first day it opened and it hasn't down to that since the first day.

So if you see a fare you can live with - get it.

Yes, I am excited here! :goodvibes Tuesday will probably determine whether we fly to WDW or DLR or whether we will end up driving to WDW. We are changing our trip plans for our dd's senior trip and heading on vacation in May instead of September. She doesn't know though! ;)

Well, we are now driving to WDW. No DLR for us... Oh, well we are going to WDW!!! :cheer2: How can you be sad about that?? :p

So, my return date (4/12) is now open, but SW is not showing any non-stop flights for the route (MCO-DTW). Will more flights eventually open, or is there a way to find out if they scrapped the non-stop flights?
