ps when Greeks/Spanish/Itallians speak it may sound like arguments, but it is just the natural tone of the language!3 useful words Paragalo (please) Efarasto (Thanks) Thello (want)

Thanks for the "insider" information. I used to live in Spain and we have travelled a lot in both Spain and Italy so I am used to that boisterous way they have of talking--I had thought it applied to Greece to, so no worries there:goodvibes

Hi guys,

We too will be joining you on the cruise! It will be myself (Mike) and DGF (Lou), both our second DCL Med Cruise. We are also bringing along my parents for their first ever Disney Cruise, we're just really hoping they love it as much as we do.

Hi Guys! :wave2: Glad you've joined us! Can't wait to get to know you! I've added your info to our website (link in my signature) under Ship Mates.

All: I've updated the "Fun Stuff" tab... I basically cut and paste info from our thread so it's all in one place rather all spread out. Let me know if I need to change anything or update. Thanks!

Also, I just wanted to share what I was working on for the past week..... it's off topic, but still wanted to share :) I attached the tulle with velcro so it can be easily removed to wash...

Roni it looks great!! Having three boys, I really missed out on all that stuff! Here's wishing for a grand daughter!

Final payment is around the corner! Still trying to figure out when to schedule Palo. Does anyone know if there will be a Captains Gala on this cruise?

Oh Roni, that looks just great. You have one lucky daughter.

Hadley, question. We have moved our pre and post cruise hotel to the AC Diplomatic. Is that near the Dominos where there are plans to meet on that Friday? Also, is it near the dancing fountains?

I am not familiar with that hotel--but I will try to google later today (we are about to head out to the carnival festivities downtown for the day). The Dominoes is literally across the street from the big Guadi church (Sagrada Familia) which is probably the most famous landmark in Barcelona (and in my opinion a must see).

The dancing fountain is not near there--but easy to get to by taxi or subway from there (subways are easy to use, clean and safe--we take them often in Barcelona) and unless you are going to Pueblo Espanola there is not a lot to do near the fountain in the daytime--it is more a nice place to pop over towards at night to see the show and maybe have a drink or some tapas (lots of restaurants in the area).

We are at the ac diplomatic too. It is just off las rambles and near the church. I am not sure where exactly the dominos is but I assume close by.

We were on the first cruise last year at the end of April. It was rather eventful with the ash cloud/volcano flight disruption, the team from the Dis Unplugged on board and one of the worst storms I've ever seen on our last sea day. We still loved it though!

As far as the fountains go, my recommendation would be to make sure you see them in the dark. We have seen them at dusk and night time and they are far more impressive when it is truely dark. They are lit up much better.

Thanks to Roni for adding us to the cruiser list.

I booked this cruise last February, and was the original thread started but we have to cancel because my husband is about to start a new job in April and can't very well ask for 10 days off 4 months later. So, the bad news is we're cancelling :( but I wanted to wish you all a great voyage! Take lots of pictures and be sure to post! The good news is we're getting re-located back down to the south (we're all the way up in FREEZING Maine right now). And, we're actually not going to cancel, but change sail dates to next year but it will be a 4 day on the dream. Anyway just wanted to send best wishes to everyone on this cruise :)

Jen

If anyone is interested we still have room on some of our private tours. The cost per person depends on how many people sign up. If you want more info send me a private message with your e-mail address. Disboards doesn’t like how long the message is with all the tour details.

Florence, Pisa and lunch at a winery - We have room for up to 6 more people.
The rates are in Euros 460 for 4 people 500 for 6 people and 540 for 8 ppl

Rome - We have room for 3 people the total cost for the tour is 550 euro so the more
people that sign up the less it becomes for all

From Naples (Dock) to Naples, Pompei and Amalfi Coast 460 for 4 people 500 for 6 people 540 for 8 people
We have room for up to 6 more people.

Sorry to hear that you have to cancel but Wahoo for moving to warmer weather! Enjoy the dream!

Hi,

Was told to come and have a look over here from the DIBB forum.
My wife (Hazel), daughter (Jerrica) and myself (obviously the Andy of the well thought out username!!!) are counting the days away to our holiday. Never done a cruise before never mind a Disney one but looking forward to it.

Having to look into things like Fish Extenders and stuff like that :surfweb:.

Anyhow ...must sleep but just to say HI

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Can I ask have you paid it early? Starting to worry now as I thought we had to pay by end April? If you have paid it early is there any "plus points" to doing this or just so you can :cool1::cool1::cool1:
Even though you pay before the "due" date, you can't reserve any earlier for things like Palo, excursions, etc. Those are still tied to your "status" (gold member, platinum, silver etc.) It's just a peace of mind that it is finally all paid for!!:thumbsup2
