Is anyone completely intimidated by their boss?

I am. He scares me which is ridiculous because he's probably one of the nicest guys I know and so supportive of his teachers. He just frightens me. I think it might be the fact that he is about a good foot taller than me. I'm just hoping he doesn't think that I'm a complete idiot. Anybody else?

I used to have a boss who scared the heck out of me. I was afraid to even talk to the woman. I was asked by some of the nurses who worked in that dept to transfer there and I almost didn't because I was so afraid of her.

Fast forward a few years and I began to not be so intimidated and would tell tell her stories of how scared I was of her.

Today, we go on vacations together. Go figure.

Nope.

My Mom was the best practice for some of the WORSE bosses EVER. She was tough, mean and moody. I never personalized it. I'd just be right up in her face and she totally RESPECTED me for it. My sisters.... they'd shiver in the corner.

Everytime I have a boss that everyone is scared to death of I get along FINE with them. I really need to thank my Mom for the practice, she made me realize that even the toughest, meanest person just wants someone to NOT back down to them.

And btw, I'm 4feet10... EVERYONE is a foot taller than me!!
