My 6 year old and I have really enjoy putting these together, but some of the prices can be high, or at least so it seems for a puzzle. The dollar store ones usually have pretty small pieces and that makes it hard for him so those are out. I am looking for 60-150 pieces with decent sized pieces. Maybe black Friday? I always see many at Good Will and other consigners, just afraid 1 piece will be missing.

The Dollar Tree usually gets puzzles frequently and their designs change. Just a month or two ago, I stocked up on probably around 8 puzzles for the various kids in my life for Christmas. They ran from anywhere between 25 pieces to over a hundred. Keep checking!

Also, JoAnn fabrics sells puzzles in the children's section. Save those 40% off coupons and you could get him a couple of puzzles for really cheap!!

Are you near Indy? I have some you can have :)

AC Moore & Michaels sells them. They often have 40% off coupons and occasionally have 50% off coupons. Sign up for coupons on their websites.

We got some fun Disney themed ones at Walgreens last year. They were super cheap and about the size you are talking.
We also got one at WDW and it was huge and took us 4 hours to put together as a family. OY!

My son LOVES puzzles. He's only 4, but he can do them over and over again. Anyway try Five Below and kid thrift stores. I've found nice ones (complete) used for cheap. Also, book stores and craft stores and maybe group with % off coupons, like Borders or AC Moore.

My DD7 likes the Fancy Nancy puzzles and I find that at Target for around $5 or $6?
