Is there a place on wdw property to get a "good" cup of coffee? I've heard that its terrible in all star food courts...
Just got to figure out how to get my caffeine in the morning...I guess I can have tea.. :hyper:

I plan on bringing a small one cup coffee maker this time since we're at POR for the first half of our stay. Just saves the walk from the room to the food court at 6:00 am. We drive though, so that is an option for us.

i just go for the real thing... coca cola!

most mod/deluxe rooms do have a coffee maker available for the asking so if coffee is that important, bringing/brewing your own is an option...

i know the coffee is different in a few places (i.e. the poly, some of the stands in the parks, AKL, etc...) but since i am not a coffee coniseurer (sp?) i can't really tell the difference... sorry!

When I was at POR in Dec there was a coffee maker and coffee and cups in the room just in case you didn't know! :goodvibes They were already there and we didnt have to request them. We didn't really use them but they did replace what coffee we did use everyday. Also at the poly at Kina Cafe they have a pressed pot of coffe that is very good and strong but I dont know if you will be in the area.

the coffee is the same everywhere--abysmal. Bring your own and brew it in the room. Bring a travel mug, and take yours down to breakfast with you. You can get pressed pot coffee at Kona and Boma. There's a coffee stand at the Polynesian. there is a coffee stand in Epcot. Other than that, it's the nescafe swill--even in the fancy restaurants. Dreadful. Disney should be ashamed.

We stayed at Pop in January and the coffee was bad. Really bad. Truly, horribly, awfully bad. So we brought those little Folgers "one cup" things that look like tea bags. Those weren't any better. At home we brew Starbucks every day so we like a little more "oomph" in our coffee. I have decided in October I will put the Folgers bag IN the Nescafe to see if I can get it strong enough. I am just too lazy to drag a coffee maker on the plane.

the folgers bag in the nescafe won't help. get a cheap coffeemaker; bring the starbucks , and then leave the coffeemaker? You'd only be dragging it one way--put it in your souvenir space?? It's worth it...

I had a great cup of coffee at the CS bakery in France at Epcot, Boulangerie or something like that. It was very good, in fact I was just saying to my mom how it was such a good cup of coffee (finally) and I spilled more than half of it. It was almost as if someone had knocked it out of my hand.

Thank goodness there are coffemakers in most rooms. I don't know of a room that doesn't have a coffeemaker. :)

I am bringing my coffee. In December we stayed at the Poly, so we werefine. The coffee at the Poly and AKL was really good. Everywhere else, undrinkable!! for someone who loves fresh brewed coffee everyday... :teeth:

We loved, loved, loved the Kona coffee at the Poly and the pressed pot at AKL was really special....

Two words....nescafe.....nasty.....:(

We always perk our own in our 1 bedroom unit and take it to go with us. Its so icky there.

Drag a press pot. You still need hot water however.

The Dolphin apparently has a Starbucks stand.

Honestly - I'm a HUGE coffee drinker...yes the first few cups are horrible...but I get used to the taste.

Here's a trick when at the food courts - half coffee, half hot cocoa.

YUMMY!

I generally get my morning coffee at the McD's on property! Better than the food courts! :-) It's not gourmet, but at least it has some flavor...
