Is AKL still cashless?

I have looked and cant find a recent answer. Can anyone tell me if Animal Kingdom Lodge remained cashless after the initial testing phase last year?

We are going there for dinner one night during our trip and I want to be prepared before hand....as I wasnt planning on bringing gift cards as a payment method.

I used cash at the Jambo gift shop last Nov.

I'm not sure it ever really did go 100% cashless
People continued to report being able to use cash at the gift shop, for example.
