Is a trekking pole allowed as a mobility aid?

I have RA and use a trekking pole as a mobility aid when walking a lot. I will most likely rent an EVC for our upcoming trip, but will stand in lines in order to stretch and move throughout the day. I don‘t think it will be a problem, but want to be prepared with a Plan B, if needed. Here is a picture of what I have for reference. 566014

I think as long as you leave the cover on the base it will be treated like a cane.

I appreciate the responses. I did send an email to WDW Disability office to be safe. I am sure it’s fine, but would rather be safe than sorry. I will update with their response.
