Is A Short Weekend Trip Crazy?

Just wanted some honest opinions on here! (mainly to help me feel like I'm not doing anything crazy)

I'm in the middle planning a trip over to Disneyland from either Thursday December 10th or Friday December 11th until Monday December 14th. I don’t really plan on visiting anything else while I'm out in California due to the fact that I plan on doing that for another trip. I wanted to make this trip a Disney only adventure. I just wanted to finish off the year by doing that!

Now, is it crazy to visit Disneyland for a weekend trip & is 2 days enough for park time? Look forward to reading your comments!

For me it's not crazy at all, most of my trips are Fri-Mon trips!!! You probably won't be able to do everything in 2 days, but since it is a weekend the hours will be long, so that's a plus!

I have not been to Disneyland and plan on going next year but I say go for it, life is to short and it will be a great adventure!

A trip to DL is never a crazy idea. 2 days will be enough to get a taste for DL and hit the highlights but it'll leave you wanting to go back for longer. We go annually for 5 days and never "do it all". Have fun!!!

I don't think you're crazy at all. You get to go during the holiday time, and you're not going during most kids' winter breaks. SoCal AP's are blocked on Saturdays, so that will probably be better than Sunday. Are you going solo? If so, you can see a lot in 2 days--just get there early and stay till close. You can use the single rider lines and the crowds won't bother you as much as when you are trying to move a party around.

It will be very busy over that time period, but if you don't mind crowds too much, it will still be fun!

2015 is now officially CRAZY!! with El Nino, 60th, Holidays and now the significant closures everyone is cramming in these last three months!!!
