I agree it is so loud. Same as pp it drives DH nuts. Alot of the legos we have were DH's and his brothers from when they were little. DS wants more for Christmas. Pretty soon we will have a whole Lego village in the living room.

My 3 yr.old son has just started loving legos. Dh goes & gets his 3 billion pieces that he had as a kid for him to play with. He does have them in a round tablecloth so when he;s done we just gather them all up & put them away. It is loud when they're digging through them.

OMG, I totally agree. We are huge into Duplos here and I am forever stepping on the flippin' things. And I still have years of Lego love to look forward to!

For all you moms of Lego-loving, school-age kids out there: If it makes you feel any better, they still loudly dig around in the tub of Legos at school, too. (when we can stand the 20 minutes of "choice time" that actually includes Legos)
