I know irons are not allowed. I'm wondering if small hand held clothes steamers are ok to bring on board? Thanks so much!

Not allowed....as it is a possible fire hazard. They do have irons in the laundry room you can use however. Not ideal but better than nothing....

Good work coming on the forums to ask, LadynTramp!

While the restrictions on things like bringing your own iron, steamer, or using candles may seem nitpicky to some, a fire at sea can be most dire. I usually just send out my clothes that need de-wrinkling to be pressed by the laundry onboard. Some fabrics will de-wrinkle pretty well just by hanging them in/near the shower while hot water is running. I've done this a good number of times and had it help a lot. The bathrooms are very small so if you hang an item up while you shower it should get a decent steaming. :cutie:

You can also send items out to be ironed. The price is ridiculously reasonable and it makes you feel very taken care of. We send DH's button ups for pressing first day of every cruise!
