for a Saturday night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, nc?? It's for March 6. Should I book it?

Help......

I think it's fair! Not the best deal GWL has ever had, but I have seen much higher prices. For that time of year,I would do it!

Then let us know if it was worth it! We want to go to every GWL there is, and that one is NEXT!!!!:)

BTW, I am paying that much for Wilderness at the Smokies,( a knock-off in Pigeon Forge) next weekend. They said their prices are rising in March due to school breaks, etc.

It's my DD's B-Day present, she picked it. She is bring one friend because we can not afford to feed more. We plan on getting there as early as we can and leaving as late as we can.

I'll let you know, this is our first time there. We only live 20 minutes away.

Thought I would let you know that there is a big gymnastics meet being held at the Wilderness at the Smokies next weekend. There is a convention center attached to the hotel building (there is also a condo type building that is attached to the indoor water park) that is where the meet is being held. Thought I'd give you a heads up! Have fun!

Oh, and there is a great little local pizza shop right down the street (about 2 miles, maybe) called Smoky Mountain Pizza Company. It's quite good.

There's always something, isn't there? :laughing:This is only the 5th weekend we have resceduled, as "something" has come up each time. If my DD does not feel better soon, we will have to reschedule this time, too!
Thanks for the heads up! I'd rather it be gymnasts than oh...I don't know....hairy biker week????!!!:rotfl2:

I used "scout" and I tried "home".

For my room selection you can use "cub" and "lodge".

Hope this help you too.

I'm going to assume we have different prices up in the Wisconsin Dells because of all the competition. To me that price seems really high. We can easily get rooms for $99 a night here. In fact last year we booked a 3 room suite with a group of friends at the Wilderness (a competitor, right across the street from GWL) for about $300 per night. We are about to book another 2 room suite for Chula Vista (another competitor) for $199 for a 2 night stay total (not per night...total), and it includes a $50 GC to the spa and a bottle of wine.

Maybe because our GWL is new?? :confused3

I don't know, I'd love $99 a night.

I think that's a good price...its a little more than the grand opening special we got there for last year. Considering it's a Sat. night, I do think it's good. We stayed there last year the first week it opened. It was great to stay with everything so fresh and new. It is a more scaled back GWL location compared to others I've seen. No hot tub for the adults...:sad2:

Have fun!
