Is 90 + 10 really 90 + 9?

Brain cramp time again!

I believe the way the rule works is that when you are 90 days from the first day of your vacation, you can book your ADR's 90 days from the 1st day plus up to 9 additional days of your vacation.

In other words, at the 90 day mark, you could make ADR's for days 1 through 10 of your vacation, but not 11, 12 or 13.

Am I correct? :confused3

(And if so, the shouldn't the rule really be called 90 + 9?)

I don't know - nobody's ever indicated a problem with that particular number before (or when it was 180 + 10). You could be right, but...

I've always had it explained to me that on your 90th day you could call and make reservations for a total of 10 days but I've never done it because we usually only stay for a week.

Wow, I would say technically you are right. Never thought of it in that way.

If we're going to nitpick, I would say the problem is with the plus sign, not the number 10. It's 90 days out and 10 days' worth of reservation, so maybe "90, 10" or "90 for 10" would be better shorthand than "90 + 10." :dance3:

I don't care what they call it, though the concept is difficult enough without have it inaccuarately named.

(Who are the "they" that named it, anyway? WDW? The Dissers? :confused3)

Anyway, I just wanted to make sure I had the "formula" right so I don't go on believing that I could book 11 days worth of ADR's when in fact, I could book only 10.
