Finally, in a year we will be going back to WDW!! We will have our 16mo. baby, as well. Is 7 days too long with her being fairly young? How much "damage" will I be doing to her schedule? :)

7 days is not too long in my opinion. We always stay at least 7 days and the kids do fine.

Lots of people go for seven days -- if anything, it might allow you some breathing room to take it a little easy. :thumbsup2

Just make sure she gets plenty of rest - I'm sure you've heard people mention here before that they take an afternoon break of some type, either at the resort, or somewhere quiet within the park. Is your DD the type who can nap in a stroller? You can also use the baby care centers if you're near one -- they can mean a quiet break for a few minutes if just to change a diaper! A lot of people find their little ones sleep better at night b/c they've done so much during the day!

I guess the main thing is, the schedule will be disrupted only as much as you decide. No one else is telling you where to go and when! Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

we think 7 is too long but we go or try to go each year.. we did 7 for our honeymoon and was ready to come home.. but with a child.. we like 5 nights..

Hi there  ,

When it was just DH & me we would slip down to WDW for a long weekend and have a blast. Once the kids came along EVERYTHING took longer, not to mention the fact that I always made sure we were back in our room for the kids 3 hr nap around noon. It was a pain to do but DH & I really needed the rest as much as the kids pirate: princess: did, we watched TV or sat on the porch while they slept.

Our first trip was with a 14 mo old and a 4 year old. We stayed for 7 days. It was just long enough. We napped everyday. (We some napped, some swam). It was nice to be able to have the days so that we didn't feel like we were missing out since we were napping every day. We just tried very hard to keep her schedule like it was at home. The great things about kids is they are pretty flexible. :rolleyes1 Good luck!
