My 180 day mark is next Saturday - which, incidentally, is the first Saturday I have had off from work in almost two years. Is it really necessary to wake up at 6am to make ADRs or do you think I'd be ok if I did it when I got up around 9am EST? I am traveling the week before Thanksgiving - 11/14-11/22 (Thurs through following Friday). The ADRs I want to make are:

8am-ish Crystal Palace breakfast
Chefs de France dinner
Sci-Fi lunch
mid-morning Tusker House breakfast
Plaza dinner
mid-morning Chef Mickey breakfast
Whispering Canyon dinner
mid-morning Kona breakfast

My times are somewhat flexible, except for CP which I'd like to get pre-rope drop. Would you chance it?

I would chance it and I have some serious ADR OCD issues. If you were booking BOG or Ohana and wanted a specific time, I would be on the phone at 7am. They start accepting on-line reservations at 6am and phone reservations at 7am.

For the most part, no.

There are a few higher demand ADRs out there that you may miss out on if you delay too much (Ohana, BoG, possibly the 8am Crystal Palace), but overall a few hours won't make a difference (and heck, in most cases, several days won't make a difference, especially if you're flexible or aren't looking for high demand locations).

I have 2 180 days the last wk of may and will be online at 6 as I'm trying for CRT for 10 during thanksgiving wk

Thanks for the input! I'm thinking I'll take my chances and sleep in on my day off! :thumbsup2

I would just in case but that is because I am OCD with getting it done and over with. I don't use the online system though and called mine in right at 7am and got everything I wanted at the times I wanted them. I have a few popular ones so maybe you should sleep an extra hour and call them in right at 7am!!! :thumbsup2

My ADR's -

Ohana dinner at 5:20pm
Crystal Palace at 8:05am
Teppan Edo at 6:10pm
HDDR at 6:15pm
Chef Mickeys Breakfast at 7:40am
