But by 10:30 we will be on our way to gatorland.... however if you want to get to port early you could join us at gatorland or we could at least meet... better yet.. I will send Jay and Mike to gatorland and I will just hide out on the ship.. one way to get a back to back cruise

ok "mom" you are adopted...as long as you will be as great to mike as his grammy is... that is a hard pair of boots to wear, because according to her he is the most wonderful, special, smartest child that walks the earth.. and then some...
For the people who hate their mother in laws.. if you only had one like I do you would know how wonderful it is to be able to "choose your family".

Hiding out sounds great! No one will ever guess - but you might need to clue Jay in -- I will send you my cabin number as soon as my docs arrive -- aaarrrggghhh!! Just about everyone else on our thread has gotten theirs - even the folks in Europe!!!

I am hoping for a big fat upgrade, since I have had to wait so long!!

Are you going to post from sea? I need to know how big a Christmas Tree I can bring with me -- Jim is bringing the duct tape - lol!!

I think giving your DILs the gift of a cruise for next year is wonderful!! Now you and your DMIL will be able to enjoy the anticipation and planning for a whole year!!

P.S. I know what you mean about having a wonderful DMIL. I had one for many years until she passed away a few years ago. I am so glad that all of you will be sharing such a special vacation together next year!

Ann, if you're able, defintely book for next year. For my MIL/FIL anniversary/birthday we bought them a cruise. We couldn't afford DCL, but it didn't matter. The looks on their faces when we were on board was worth every $$$$$$.

They never would have done it if we hadn't given it to them. Several months later and they still bring it up regularly. It was also great to have them spend time with our DD too.

Go for it. The memories are irreplaceable.

We have a cat 10 and it was 2224 for the 3 of us. I don't know
how much that is/was pp....I can look when I get home. We booked it on our last cruise in 9-02. I think our cat has gone up though.

I just crossed referenced our dinner seating with DeeAnn and her family. Can't wait to meet them...and you....and Janis...etc, etc.
I have green Mickey heads from Home Depot...did you get yours?

put in the cruise date etc. as if you are booking, if there are cabins available they will show up the best eight. If there are less than 8 they will show up the ones avail. It it is a gty status that will show up. Right now cat. 10 is not available at all it used to be a Gty status but that is now gone.
for three people (two adults one child)the prices are as follows..
Cat12- $2697.00
cat11- $1687.00
Cat 9 $3037.00
so if you paid $2224.00 for a cat. 10 I would say you got a good deal!
