Is 6:30 at Ohana too late for a MNSSHP night?

I'm thinking about getting MNSSHP tickets for our last night for our upcoming trip. Problem is that I've also got Ohana reservations for that night @ 6:30. I figure we probably wouldn't make it to the MK until 8-8:30. At that point have I already missed too much of the party?

I obviously can't move my ohana reservation this late, but may look at another night for the party if it's a big deal.

Thanks,

Mike

In my opinion, you will be missing too much of the party to make it worth your while. Ideally, I like to be done with dinner by 5:00 so I can do some of the MK before the party starts. If I were you, I'd pick one or the other but not try to do both.

we are doing dinner at tony's at 6:40. I don't mind missing a bit of the party, If we miss some of the more "popular" characters so be it, I really intend for this to be a easy-going vacation. I'd love to get photos with every thing, but I won't let it ruin the night if we don't and I'm not sure I'd stand in line for 45min even if we weren't dining late. We are planning to hit the late parade and just take things slow. If you are a major tour buff then that will be too late to hit everything.

You probably wouldn't get to the park until around 8. I wouldn't do them on the same night, especially if you want to do a lot of the MNSSHP-specific activities. I know we want to be in line at 6:30 for Snow White (if not earlier), so we're just having dinner in the room after a big lunch at WCC. So ready!!!

It really all depends on you. Like you, I debated and debated if I should dine at 5:00 before heading over to MNSSHP. Practically speaking, getting to the party earlier makes so much sense . . . and I'm STILL debating it!

It is just my husband and myself this trip. We are looking forward to taking things a bit slower this time (I've been a tour planDisney Commando in the past, to great success, and this time I just want to breathe a bit.)

So, we are not too concerned about dance parties, standing in lines for candy or mingling with characters.

Although I'm sure we will enjoy all of the above, for us it is about being there, walking around, taking it all in, and doing a few rides that might be more crowded during regular park hours. Four or five hours there instead of eight might be fine for us.

However, like I say, I'm still debating it! The other side of me says, GET THERE EARLY and if you want to leave after four hours, fine . . . but in case you don't, you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy more, more, more.

I'm glad you started this thread and will enjoy hearing what everyone else has to say.
