I have the Ultimate Family Package below in a 2-bedroom suite for $587. Is this a good deal? This is what the package includes:

We are only staying for 2 nights, Friday, December 18th-Sunday, December 20th.

We are a family of 4, DH, myself, DS(6) and DD(17). They both LOVE Spongebob....I mean die-hard fans. Is the 2-bedroom large enough for us?

I was thinking about the 3 bedroom. What do you think?

We were looking for a quick getaway and this would be part of their Christmas present. Is this worth it?

The reviews on Tripadvisor seem horrible! But I'm going with low expectations. But DH said we had to keep the total trip cost under $1,000.

IMHO No, its not worth it. The waterpark is amazing, but there are so many other places to chose from that are much cheaper! I was just reading about the Clarion Waterpark Resort recently - I don't know the costs, but it looks nice.
The Nick Hotel is super crowded these days. Our first year there (when they opened) was perfect, but each year since then has increasingly become a nightmare. Too many guests at the pool, lack of noise control, busy food courts, packed shows. Its a nice stop for the day, but I wouldn't stay there. They also charge a $25/day resort fee for each day of your stay. You used to be able to show AAA and not have to pay, but they got rid of that now.
Overall, I haven't been impressed. In fact, our last trip I filled out the questionnaire they leave in your room and told them all the problems we had. Lucky for us, they had a great manager who mailed us a big Spongebob bucket filled with treats for the kids to make up for it.
Anyway, hope that helps a little. We are staying at the Quality Inn Parc Suites in Kissimmee (not far from Nick). We LOVE it there. :thumbsup2

**I just noticed you were asking about your kids in a 2 bdroom vs. 3 - if your kids are bigger, the 2 bdroom might be kind of small. My 3 boys fit in one of the bdroom's, but one was in a crib, and the two were in bunk beds which weren't huge. You may be able to watch for a lower rate on the rooms too, as a friend got a great deal by getting on there mailing list. Sorry if I was tough on Nick, just not our favorite.

For a strange comparison, that's more than my buddy and I are paying each for 6 nights, 7 days and 6 table service meals, 6 counter service meals and 6 snacks each at Disney on site at a value resort(POP).
