It's selling for $72. most places, $52 on Hotwire, and is getting great reviews now that it has been completely renovated. Can anybody tell if it's the Four Points Sheraton near Universal?:confused3

Have you checked betterbidding.com? They have pinned a lot of the hotels.

Betterbidding.com is very confusing. I understand, Darcy, you got 4 Points at $52., but if I accept, is there a chance that I will get any other hotels at that price? Or is it assured that at $52. it will be 4 Points. Isn't that just one of the selections? My problem is that I really need 2 queen sized beds, and that's hard to find. Any info on this would be appreciated.

When using Hotwire or Priceline there is no guaranty of which hotel you'll get. You could buy it and it could be something else. If I'm going somewhere and I know I want a specific hotel I just book it directly. If I really don't care (which is 99.9% of the time) I use Hotwire and pick a 3* or better. I've never been disappointed. I usually end up with Sheraton, Hilton, Wyndham, or Hyatt and once the Doubletree. If you have to have the Sheraton I would just book it directly.

You can't just go by the price. If you look at betterbidding.com, look for the Hotwire Hotel List. Go under Florida. It will list all of the known Hotwire "wins" that people report back. It's mostly the very specific list of amenities and * rating that helps them guess what hotel you'll get, not price. It's never a guarantee, esp. whether the beds will be queen or double.

If you have very exact needs, I'd book directly. For $20/nt it may not worth
it.
Good luck! :goodvibes
