Tried to obtain a 4th FP+ last night as I had read there was a test of this underway. I could only see my 3 already reserved without the option to obtain a 4th. Is this mini test over? We will be at WDW from 4/25 through 5/2. THANKS!

I just checked and still only have 3 FPs............we are going 4/8-4/12. How do I get the 4th FP?

According to Josh's post, you'd have to cancel all your FP+ reservations and rebook two days out to receive a fourth. If you have any hard-to-get or times you wouldn't want to change, it may not be worth it.

Reading Josh's post I was of the understanding that you would be assigned a low priority attraction. Presumably when you are 2 days out. I do not see that he says you need to cancel.

I understood it to be that they assigned a 4th, but that you could change it on the MDE. I was just gonna give it a try.....

We are leaving Tues also............it still shows 3 FP and I am like you. Not willing to cancel and then rebook.
I would also be very hesitant to cancel and rebook... someone somewhere in the world is sitting at their computer just waiting to take that hard to get FP! LOL

Just pick new fps for the day. It will tell you that your old ones will be relaced but they wont be replaced until you choose a new set and hit confirm. At anytime you can back out and still have your old ones. Do not cancel them, just pick new fast passes for the day.

If this continues it is as I said on the other thread in more complex language, absolutely nuts. I get that a 4th fp+ is helpful. Nothing wrong with that. By doing it this way though Disney is penalizing both their onsite guests who book 60 days out, their offsite guests who book 30 days out, anyone who follows everything Disney has put in place to get people booking in advance, and rewarding those who either don't book in advance, or those who dont have coveted fp's and are willing to give them up to rebook with a 4th fp+. Imho it is absolutely bizarre and contrary to everything they've put in place regarding fp.

So, is Josh's post not correct that you'll be automatically assigned a 4th fp?
Josh lays it out very specifically that the fourth FP+ reservations are being assigned to people who set up their slate of FP+ reservations no sooner than two days out:
Disney continues to allow guests visiting Magic Kingdom through April 12th to book a 4th FastPass+ in advance, so long as they set up their FP+ no earlier than two days in advance. Guests who have already booked FastPass+ for dates through the 12th will be assigned a 4th low priority FastPass+ experience, which can then be modified to the attraction and time of your choice.

But he also states people that have pre-booked will be assigned a 4th automatically. Or am I just misinterpreting this statement? I currently have 3 FP+ booked for 4/11.

But read the line after the bolded one. If you already booked your FP+ 60 or 30 days in advance you will still be assigned a low priority 4th FP+ at two days out which you can then modify. I have no clue why someone would think of this as penalizing early FP+ bookers. You still get the 4th FP+ and can change it, it just won't be assigned until 2 days out. I think this is a GOOD thing. It eliminates having to wait at a kiosk to obtain a 4th FP+ and you can select any time and attraction that is available 2 days out. You can even schedule it before your planned 3 FP+ and get a 5th from the kiosk when you would normally be trying for a 4th.

I just left the world. We prebooked. I was never offered a 4th fast pass. Not on the website not when I went up to the on site folks.

I was not willing to cancel anything. My best advice go early at rope drop no fast passes on EMH.

We made it through preEaster week & rode every E ticket ride at least twice. 5:30 am starts & in the parks till 1 am most night. Did take afternoon breaks when the park was the most crowded.

Enjoy your trip. For the record fast pass plus really only works at MK. The rest not enough rides to make it work.

I'm not seeing this or how to get it. We'll be at the MK in 2 days (Wednesday, 4/8) and still showing only 3. Don't want to cancel and lose 7D or times we want on the others but I'm not feeling this info is correct.

Read above I never received them either. I am not sure how it worked but we never got the 4th fast pass up front. We lived without it.

Was never offered even a bad 4th fast pass up front so not sure how others got it.

We still enjoyed our trip.

I just tried booking for 2 days from now and was only given 3 FP+. If I book for tomorrow, I am given 4 FP+. So, it sounds like the 2 days thing is not correct either?
