Is 300.00 for 9 days full size over Christmas normal?

We were going to Amtrak but after adding in transfers and not having any transportation at WDW we decided to rent a car a drive. My DN packs alot so our car won't work. Anyway I have checked around and a full size car rents around 300.00 in Ga for 9 days with unlimited miles.

Most deals end by 12/14/06. Not much helf for me.

If you're picking up in a small town there may not be much competition and that's what you're going to have to pay. With some companies 7 days gets you a weekly rate but then those next 2 days revert to a daily rate because it's not a full week increment....and daily rates can be pricy. Did you try the Orbitz website to compare all available company rates in one spot?

Didn't check Orbitz but did look at Travelocity and Dollor was the best. I think Hotwire was around 269.00 however since I can;t cancel it I didn't book it. Will keep an eye on hotwire though.

With this one it bring it down to 244.47. What is this code? Can anybody use it.
I also was able to use a coupon and Entertainment discount and got a rate of 246.88 for the 9 days.

Ok I did a search and found out that K817625 is a delta frequent flyer code.

Which location are you renting from? What are your dates?

Renting from Savannah ga airport from 12/22/-12/31/06. I was able to get the rate down to around 250.00

Using the $20 off coupon on the National web site and the Vacation Outlet contract ID 5042947, a full size prices out at $240.90

Or use the $25 off coupon and get a midsize SUV for $230.52

even without the codes and stuff I think thats a pretty good price for 9 days on a full size. Mine is about 200 for 6 days for an economy.

I did go back and modify and added a day to make it 10 for 273.45.
