Is 30 min. enough time to get from Lion King to Boma?

We have the Prince/Princess add-on and we're scheduled to see the Lion King show at 4:30. Will we have enough time to see the show, get to our car and make it to the AKL for a 5:30 PS at Boma? Is there any other way to get to AKL from AK, besides bus, that would be faster? Also, if you're late for your PS, will they let you in anyway?

I personally think that that would really, really be pushing it.

The crowd that comes out of the Festival of the Lion King show seems to get "bogged down" because everyone is exiting the show and once and it took as awhile to get out even into the main park area, let alone down the walk to the entrance. But that was our personal experience.

As for transportation options to AKL, we stayed at AKL on our last trip and I am not aware of any other options (but I could be wrong).

Too close. I'd say you have a good chance of missing your PS. I have no idea what they will do if you show up late. It may depend on the day you are eating and how busy Boma is.

I agree. It really does take quite a while for the crowd to get out of the Lion King theater. There are plenty of exits, but they all funnel into the same narrow path back to the main path out of the park. You might also have to wait a bit for a tram to your car in the parking lot. It's only about a 5 minute ride from the AK to the AKL once you are in the car, though.

I'd allow an hour from show end to BOMA PS.

Nope ... not enough time. The Lion King show is 30 min. It will take you another 20 min at least to leave the theatre, leave the park and get to your car. Then another 15 to get out of the parking lot, to AKL, park, and to Boma. If you really tear out of DAK, at a run, and run to your car, then you can probably make it. But otherwise, you need to give yourself about a half-hour more.

If you're late for your PS, they'll still seat you, but you'll be in the queue behind all the people who were on time and also behind anyone with a PS after yours who was on time.

I'd choose an earlier Lion King show!

Sure, it COULD be enough time if you really hoof it out of the show...And I mean really keep a pace.

The drive from AK to AKL will be less than 5 minutes so the test is how fast can you get out of LK, get to your car and get from your car to Boma...You may want to valet.

A simple change to a 5:40-5:45 ps might be easier.

Thanks everyone! I'll just make the Boma PS a little later and make sure our little ones have a snack first. I had no idea how long it would take us to get out of the park.

You can bring snacks into the FOTLK show area for your little ones. I'd even try for a 6pm PS.
