Is $2500 do-able for a 5 day 4 ngt trip to Disney?

Really! I didn't know that! So when I go to book my trip on disneyworld.com They only charge the intitial $200 and then when do we pay the balance? Thanks for that info.

Balance is due 45 days before the trip. Enjoy your planning and your trip!

My budget doesn't include travel (driving down from SC), but for 5 days/4 nights, we have a budget of $300 for 8 people.

4 nights at Fort Wilderness Campground in the value season = $198 (incl. tx)
All meals cooked at campsite = same price as eating at home = $0
One day at MK using GAD vouchers = $76.50 (for 3yo, who was too young to volunteer)
Other days spent at campground, DTD, or touring other hotels = $0

Total cost = $274.50

We Booked 11 days at POP for 3 including air from Bangor Maine, park hopper but no water parks for under $2500 total. Flying with Delta using ME from airport and still hoping for free DP but not counting on it.:thumbsup2

WOW, that sounds like a great Deal! Enjoy! :)

How much were the tickets? Did you get them in the park or online? The POP is in Disney??
Thanks for your reply. :)

The POP is one of the most inexpensive resorts in Disney, but is definitely VERY COOL! I have stayed at Deluxe as well as the Bay Lake Towers, and although the POP is not as convenient as BLT, it was just as exciting to stay there.

The deal I got was a vacation package direct from Disney. I booked it online. I don't remember the cost of the tickets alone. I just know the package was $2000. And this was just about a month ago during busy season.

You really don't need to rent the car if you plan on staying on property. Also, the quick service dining plan should save you some cash as well.

I think you can make it work for sure. Look for spare change and save evary dollar from here to there. Have an awesome time!

Congrats on your pin!

Pay the $200 now, then pay the rest 45 days before your trip.

Also, I think Universal Studios will PICK YOU UP at your hotel (even in Disney) and take you to their theme parks for just $99.

That is what I heard last time I was there.

I also got No expiration on my tickets just in case, and thank goodness I did because I had to stay behind a day with my daughter. So now I have an extra day or 2 left on my passes.

One thing I forgot, is kids (and adults too sometimes), get SO excited that they don't want to eat before heading out. We always bring easy breakfast items and easy to carry items, (granola bars, cheese sticks, fruit and crackers). This prevents meltdowns an hour later when hunger strikes, is handy while waiting in line and is cheaper than buying snacks continually.

We also bring kool-aid and crystal light packets and ask for ice water at the counter service location. I don't drink very much soda and watch my caffeine intake, so this is a good alternative and CHEAP.
