is 2 in 1/2 days enough

we've been there alot. we know what we like an what we dont. we know where we dont spend any time. an we barely go over to CA
it would just be a quick little trip for my day (we may make it longer but for now 2 1/2 days

29th were hoping to get to hotel by 10 (if we get to go in we will if not we will go to the park.(or go eat mimis an check see if hotels ready.
If we went to park, Then back to the hotel for few hours (hot time the afternoon)Pizza delivered YUMM
an then back for the night time stuff an hopefully Fantasmic.)

Then 30th nov my bday we go to storytellers for breakfast? (any idea what time they open on a Monday in nov (7?)
Then im thinking lunch at rain forest cafe that day. Why not its my bday. (ited be a late lunch since had a good breakfast.)

Dec 1st would be out ee an our last day.
golden horse shoe an Bangle BBQ for sure some time this day.
the day wed do the holiday tour if we do. an get to see the parade we missed last time.

(Now maybe ill switch rain forest cafe for our last day, lunch. an put the holiday tour on my bday if we do that (I chose not to try to squeeze the princess breakfast. since weve done it for lunch we will try breakfast another time when moneys better. Id rather save that 80 an try to add another 80 an see if we can do the holiday tour) (dumb rain messed it up two years ago)

so for a 2 1/2 day trip for ppl who know what there is an what they like an dont do you think it works? (my son hates bugs life show so we stay away from bugs land. an I wont go on pirates lair gain they didnt have anything there but when i got off the raft there jack was right in New Orleans square. at least i got his pic last time.)

Also dont forget my 69dollers to have fun spending for my bday

Also how long is the tiki show? an is food alowed to be took in so we could eat while watching it? DH wants to see it, an with him missing mr lincon i said wed try.

He wants to do three things in dca sorren, toy story if we can (but he knows it may be like nemo) an wed like to do grizzly if its not to windy or rainy lol

With a really focused trip, you can do it.

Since they have the Dole Whip/pineapple juice "bar" right there inside the waiting area for Tiki (there's a line outside the waiting area and a line inside), I'm sure they don't mind some foods. But for the sake of others I probably wouldn't bring a whole meal into an enclosed space...I'd probably eat in the waiting area.

Make sure your son knows it's a short trip. He's older than my son of course, and better at knowing what he's agreeing to, LOL, but still, make sure he understands that it's a short and sweet, faves only, trip.

hehe ya thats a good idea. I think if i told him we were going just to see fantasmic for mommys bday he would be fine.

I agree with Molly, a nice talk with your son about the family visit to Dl. and favorites only visit. I have gone to Dl. for one day before as well as for two days. One day for me, is not enough. However, one day is better than nothing. I am more content with two days. I believe that you and your family will have a wonderful and fun time as well, while visiting Dl. for 2 1/2 days. Who knows, maybe you will be able to add an additional day? November is quite a ways a way, still.

so i have a question. How much tax an tip should be at storytellers?
we could buy the character breakfast voucher for 32 dollars each adult an 18 for my son

but walk in paying what we both will order is 22.99
an my sons 11.99 (buffet )
im just trying to think maybe the voucher wont save us any at storytellers?

we also may squeeze another 30 in food for a Monto Cristo at cafe Orleans. we want one but dont think we need to do bb this trip maybe next year.

Last week we were there for Mon - Wed.

Mon ~ we arrived at the parks at about 10am ~ DL closed at 8pm (DCA 6pm)
Tues ~ MM! 8am-8pm (DCA closed @ 6pm again)
Wed ~ 9am-5:30pm (we had to head to the airport)

We visited DCA each day in the afternoon, we did not take afternoon breaks. We rode rides multiple times!

We will be arriving from the East Coast by mid afternoon the day before our park days with time to tour DtD and have supper before calling it an early night because of the time change.

My DD15 is not the biggest of thrill riders(nothing with significant drops), so being able to skip Space & Splash Mtns, IJA(in this case too herky jerky), ToT, CS, etc... should free up plenty of time for other things to see.

Jade that would be enough time. We do that a lot actually, drive down early Sat. am and leave Sunday afternoon so it's not even 2 full days. Our kids totally get it and they are fine with it. I'm thinking your DS is 7 right? So he should get it, my DD was always fine with it, from 7 on.

As for RFC, do you do My Points? If not PM me and I'll tell you about it, you really should!! I'm able to get RFC gift cards thru them and it costs me a bit of time and checking them to see if any online shopping will work with them. A $25 gift card paired with the Safari Club really helps with the bill!!
