Is 2 days enough?

My wife and I are going on a cruise to celebrate our 10 yr wedding anniversary in March 2011. We decided to go a couple of days earlier and visit Universal Studios. Our actual time in the parks will be 1 1/2 days. My question is, that time of the year, will that be enough time to see the "must sees"? I think we'll be staying off site due to financial reasons. Hope to hear from some of you soon. Our cruise is bought, we're still sort of planning out everything else.

Depends on what week in March, but I think you could get most of Universal done in 1 1/2 days. Will you see it all? No. But you can ride the headliners easy.

That's right at the start of spring break season. Get there early and consider buying express pass for your full day if lines are too long while you're there. You should be fine getting there right at opening though.
