does anyone know how I can do iron transfers for tshirts etc, I want disney ones for our wedding

I noticed some people had them on their planning journals but i dont know where to find them to get them don

thanks for all your help

depending on what your looking for, just do a search and then when you find the clipart, right click it & save it to your computer in "my Pictures"

I make tshirts all the time & its so easy & cheap & it makes it fun to presonalize.

you can find the iron transfers at walmart , office max, etc...about 10 sheets for $7-8.

Have fun with it:thumbsup2

thats great but i'm in the uk so wont be able to pop to wal-mart! I wish we had one though, we have asda which is owned by them but no where near as good

someone on here had bride to be and groom to be with all disney characters in it and wondered how they made them

those are mine

someone made that for me, and i'm ironing them on shirts. if you look at my planning journal you will see them, you can just save the pic and use it if you would like.

alot of the people on here have had designs done for them by the people on the creative disigns board. you could ask someone over there.
as for the tshirt transfer kits you can get them in pcworld

I've bought T-shirt transfer kits in Staples before in the UK - it's normally in the aisle that has the kiddie/arts and crafts stuff or with all the unusual photo papers.

Have fun!

Here are some sites that have iron on transfers. They are pretty easy to use, just design and print onto the transfer paper (you have to make sure to print in reverse, but the directions tell you how to do this, it's under your print options page), then iron!!

You should be able to have these shipped:

I got 100 transfers on ebay for $30. Way cheaper than in the store, and they are the same quality.

I bought Iron Transfers at Walmart a long time ago... Cant remember the price but they worked out great...:thumbsup2

Just wanted to let everyone that is making shirts know that Hobby Lobby has their tshirts 50% off. The adults were 1.98 and the kids 1.49. I bought tons :rotfl:

when DH and I used to use iron-ons, we liked the ones for dark fabrics. They are opaque white instead of clear. You print whatever you want, cut out the shapes, place on the t-shirt, and iron them on. It's almost like having them screenprinted...almost. lol

since I have an embroidery machine, now I usually will just digitize and embroider whatever, although I'm sure there will be an occasion to use iron-ons again...

I'm not sure what kind of office supply stores you have over there in the UK, but anyplace like staples, office depot, etc. should carry them with all the different papers...

oh, Miranda has said that there is Staples...:thumbsup2

good luck!
