Has anyone had a problem with their iron ons peeling off the shirt after washing it? I had a couple that it did last night. Not all the shirt had a problem with them and I am trying to figure out if it is the transfer paper I bought or I just didn't hold the iron on them long enough.

I think I have read that its not been ironed long enough? :confused3
you might want to grab the iron paper...wax paper stuff? and iron over it again

Thanks. They are so bad that I reprinted them this morning. I am glad I had an extra couple of shirts. This time I won't wash them after putting the iron-on on. Atleast they will look good for one night.

That's what I did with all of ours ... just put them in the suitcase! I will wash them when we get back. I figured that I'd rather do that and have them looking good for the one day we will wear them.

Although I did wash a couple that I had messed up and one that I just made to wear at home & they came out fine.

Good luck with the rest of yours!

The only problem with not washing them in vinegar before you wear them is if you get wet, the color might run :-( I read this on another thread.

iron may not have been hot enough before starting the iron-on process or on the design long enough. Sorry to hear about your problem. I've not had one peel off the shirt after washing (and I've done more than 60 - 90% of them on HP paper). I have had a couple CRACK after coming out of the dryer (I used a commercial dryer and I think it had a "hot spot" in it).

I think it was a combination of the iron not being hot enough and not staying on long enough. I had a couple of shirts that were not for Disiney so I am not worried about them. But of course it was my 3 year olds shirt for MNSSHP that was wrecked. Oh well. I printed new ones off and won't wash them.
