Irish Pub in PI

Is it true they closed the Jazz club in PI and it's going to be an Irish Pub???? Any info??

Irish hospitality and a bit of blarney will be coming to Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort in the form of an authentic Irish pub and restaurant. Scheduled to open in summer 2005, Raglan Road will feature the very best of Irish food, flair, heritage and entertainment.

The Irish culture is known for its warmth, character and hospitality, and the new Downtown Disney pub promises to deliver an experience immersed in genuine Irish atmosphere -- from food and drink to music and entertainment.

Traditional and contemporary Irish music, storytelling and dance will help create a lively social ambience and the friendly pub staff will bring Emerald Isle charm to Downtown Disney.

The Irish pub and restaurant will occupy the building that formerly housed The Jazz Company. Pleasure Island club admission will not be required for entrance to the pub.

The Jazz Co was my fave PI spot, but I think this pub will be great, too

I can't wait to go to this pub. Being from Boston, there are a TON of Irish pubs up here. Let's just say that majority of the people here are of Irish decent (myself included). I can't wait to try it!

Do you know if they will be accepting advance reservations for the new Irish club?

Awesome! Hope they take the dining plan and then I no longer have to decide where to go when we ditch the chitlens. Irish food, drink, jokes, and music -- what more could someone of American Indian descent want? I would definately choose this over the monorail drink-a-thon we have currently planned.
