Where is the best deal to purchase an Ipod Touch. My ds(9) wants one for his next bday in May. I just stated looking and don't know much about them.

Sundays target ad - listed 8gb for $225.00 and get a $20 target gift card, is this a good deal? Or should I look at the apple store or somewhere else.

I just bought one for dd12 off the apple store,

It was a refurbished one for $149 free shipping. It's only an 8gb (2nd generation I think), but it works perfectly fine......since my dd's only 12, she doesn't need anything fancier at this age....it also has the full warranty as a new one.

Comes sealed with brand new headphones, charger, manuals, etc..

Amazon has the 8gb 4th generation iPod touch for $210.99 with free shipping. If you live in a state that doesn't charge sales tax if you buy from Amazon, it doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Best deal is the refurbished one mentioned above. I know plenty of people who have bought this way (including me) and never heard of any problems. If you want new and the latest models, then Costco has some of the best prices out there - Apple products are rarely discounted.

I'm going to get one at Target for my son's birthday, I just feel better about buying it locally just in case something is wrong with it.

thanks, we just bought one this week. I went with Target. I too like to buy at a store and not online. Target had another deal and we received a $20.00gift card, that we used to buy some a case.

My ds(10) can't stop talking about his new ipod touch and is still learning all the things that can be done with one.
