IPOD Touch APP : Texting

My DD9 wants a cell phone so that she can text with her friends. I said no that's she is to young and they are to expensive. DH and I use pre-pay.

I know there are free Apps for texting on my IPOD touch. Can anyone recommend one for use to use? Preferably free, of course.

Yep, it's text free. My daughter is glued to the Ipod. I rather her do that than run up a cell bill.

Thanks. Off to download....hopefully. Lately I have been having trouble connecting to the Itunes Store ( computer and ipod). Not sure if it is my internet connection (which has been slow) or Apple.

The new OS (which should be released sometime soon), will allow texting as one of the new features. Hopefully they will release it in October with the new iPhone release.
