Ipod Question

Just bought an ipod last week and loaded some of my songs on it; My question is, how do you delete a song once it's on there? Can't figure it out!!

You hook it up to your computer and you delete it from your itunes page. It's really easy. You can make playlists that way and delete them or add songs.

When you have your IPOD hooked up, highligh the song that you want to delete and then hit delete and if that doesn't work hit the backspace button. LOL I didn't know either and it's not like the IPOD has a manual so I down loaded the important parts from the help website and then bought a little manual at a bookstore. Enjoy your IPOD. I love mine.

I still wasn't sure exactly how to do that - couldn't find a "delete" anywhere on the screen....but I just figured out that I needed to right click on the mouse. I am so SLOW when it comes to figuring out computer stuff....

I don't know if you figured it out yet or not but I meant hit the delete button not any kind of delete from the screen. It takes a bit to get used to the IPOD but you can do it.

well, I got to the gym, and the songs I thought I'd deleted were still there...oops. I will try your method. Thanks!

You need to delete the song from the "Library". If you delete it from a playlist, it will be gone from that playlist, but still on the iPod.

You also need to hook your iPod to the computer and update it to have the change reflected.

WOW..great idea to Post here about your IPOD!! I am going to do the same as I have songs on there that I loaded and no longer want...

Yes! I deleted them! Sadly, I think my last problem was what Jenny said about having to hook it back up to my computer again to have the change reflected...They were there this morning, but now they're not! So much to learn...
