iPod, PLEASE help!!

Hi all! I am buying my DH an iPod classic 160gb. But I really need to know what accessories to buy with it. I am importing all of his CDs to my computer, so I need to buy the cable for that, right? Do they come with a charger?

The iPod comes with the cable that transfers music, videos, etc. from your computer to the Pod. It plugs into the PC's USB and also serves as the charger. So, you charge the iPod through the computer.

If you would prefer to charge it the old-fashioned way (through the wall - lol) like I do.

As far as accessories, it will come with the earbud headphones but many people like to upgrade their headphones to something with better sound or a better fit in the ear. I think that the earbuds have a pretty decent sound, so it wouldn't be on the top of my list to buy.

The only thing I highly suggest is a case to protect it or allow him to clip it on for working out or jogging or whatever. But preference in cases is so subjective that maybe you'll want to let him pick that out.

Make sure you have enough room on your computers hard drive to import all the music in .

I bought an external hard drive for all my music and photos..actually I have two external hard drives for all my photos..

Important tips-backup any music you purchase on iTunes to CD or external hard drive and also don't charge an iPod until it really needs to be charged.

The only other thing I can think of is an FM transmitter for the car, unless your car is equipped for it.
