Ipod Help!!!!

My whole family has an Ipod. I want to put new music on my Ipod, but if I sync the music, all of my dads stuff will go on my ipod, and take all of mine off. How do I not get it to do that??

Also, can I get all of my songs from my ipod back onto the itunes?

Okayy....well first you have to plug in your dads ipod into the computer. then click on 'dads ipod' or whatever it says. This grayish screen will come up where the music usually is and say dads ipod and have a bit of info. At the top there will be different tabs saying music videos etc. click on the music tab and it will have a couple boxes. click the one where it says upload music manually or unclick the one that says sync music to ipod automatically. that should do it.
when you plug in your ipod it will come up with all the songs you have. i believe you can drag them up to your library but i'm not sure.

Actually, if you want to, you can click and drag specific songs onto your ipod.
That's usually what I do, because I don't really have a lot of songs to put on at once.
And I don't want songs I've deleted off the ipod to go back on, etc.

I still don't get it. I want my songs from my ipod, back onto my itunes, and I want the new stuff on my ipod. Each time I try, it tries to take all my music off my ipod and put all my dads music on. It says that my ipod can't be synced to more then one itunes. How do I change that?

Go on iTunes and unclick the checkmarks for all the songs you don't want on your iPod (checkmark boxes are to the left of the song name) then plug in iPod and then those specific songs will go onto your iPod.
